• Question: What else can be done to prevent TB?

      Good question!! More effective TB drugs would help a lot. Preferably ones that you don’t have to take for 6 months (as you currently do). Also, TB is difficult to diagnose and often people have been coughing and spreading the disease for several months before it’s picked up. So a rapid, sensitive diagnostic test would be a big help. Tb is also a disease of disrupted communities and poverty. Increased wealth an improved social conditions would have a big impact on TB rates.
