To get rid of everything we don’t need in our bodies – when we eat we absorb all of the nutrients we need to function and discard the rest of it. If we didn’t excrete we’d become filled with waste which would rot and produce toxic substances that would become harmful.

We need to eat to get energy.

If you put food in at one end, it needs to come out somewhere or you’d explode!

Imagine a day when you feel constipated, you feel bloated and wierd and stuffed. That is the reason we need to excrete.
