      it’s very hard to predict how long a nuclear winter would last as this depends on where the targets would be – but if nuclear bombs were to hit large cities, a nuclear winter may last years, killing millions due to food shortages. Another reason to be afraid of nuclear warfare (as well as the fact cockroaches may inherit Earth!)
