      They carry oxygen tanks, just like scuba divers do.

      Spacesuits and spacecraft have their own oxygen supply – provided by generators in spacecraft so astronauts don’t have to wear suits, or by by oxygen tanks when they’re outside like Ian mentioned. They also remove exhaled carbon dioxide which makes the oxygen last longer 🙂
