No, and it makes me really sad that so few people get to go to space. I think its crazy that in a few years going to the moon will be something that people only read about in books – something that happened before we all were born. I grew up being promised moon bases, and regular visits to mars… but they haven’t happened because politicians don’t want to spend the money.

The space program is the most exciting thing I can imagine. Even though a lot of the big programs have been cancelled, there’s a lot of amazing stuff going on at the moment:

Curiosity is a huge robot that was lowered onto the surface of mars from a crane that hovered above the surface using rockets.

SpaceX and a bunch of others are getting close to making commercial space flight a reality.

Ardusat lets schools have their own satellite – for real, launched from the ISS. You get to run your own missions and do experiments IN SPACE!

Ardusat is pretty expensive, but Pocket Spacecraft let you put your own “spacecraft” in to space for less than £100.

Yes. It was a few years ago, it was good but I probably wouldn’t go back. Ibiza is nice but it’s not really my scene.

I haven’t! In a couple of years, anyone will be able to go into space with Richard Branson’s Virgin Galactic – if you can afford the $200,000 ticket price!
