PhD (microbiology), BSc (genetics), Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education, Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Fellow of the Royal Society of Biology, Advanced Highers (equivalent) in maths and biology, Highers in maths, English, physics, chemistry and biology, O grades/GCSEs in maths, English, physics, chemistry, biology, French, geography, arithmetic, accounts… oh and a vocational certificate in typing!
My highest qualification at the moment is a Masters in Science (MSc) in Data and Information Fusion. I also have a BSc in Computer Science and 3 A-Levels and 9 GCSE’s.
I went to school in Scotland so I have highers rather than GCSEs. The highers I got were in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, English, Geography and Religious Studies. I then did an undergraduate degree (BSc) for 4 years (again in Scotland) in cell biology, a masters of science (MSc) for 1 year in drug design and biomedical science and a PhD in Virology (the study of viruses) for 4 years. I didnt need to do the MSc to get the PhD but I think it helped.
My highest qualification is a PhD (which stands for Doctor of Philosophy, put simply I get to use the title Dr in front of my name!). I also have a masters and an undergraduate degree in maths.
My qualifications are:
GCSE’s (English, Maths, Science, French, PE, ICT, RE, Psychology, Music)
AS Levels (Psychology, Sociology, English Lit/Lang, Drama, General studies)
A Levels (Psychology, Sociology, English Lit / Lang)
BSc (Hons) – Psychology
In approx. 2 years I’ll also have a PhD 🙂
