I’m afraid this isn’t my area of research so I’m not sure to be honest! I’m sure that one of the other scientists will be able to help you though 🙂

      excellent question…
Bio-diversity is really just looking at the variety of living things in a certain space… taking into account all the microscopic life too!

Biodiversity is REALLY important! Its about having a wide variety of plants and animals in a specific area. Imagine if there was only spinach to eat and nothing else! There are some benefits that we get from some species but not others and vice versa so its important to have a good balance of life in the world so we and our planet can stay healthy.

The variety of living organisms in an ecosystem. More biodiversity is better as it makes the ecosystem more able to survive.
