I really enjoyed Biology at school because it helped to make sense of the world and how everything came to be.
When I discovered Psychology, that was when it really kicked off. I could use the Biology to help me understand a bit more of the Psychology behind what people do and why. Very interesting!

My favourite topic has to be chemistry as I’m still studying it now haha. But within chemistry I’d have to say that metal complexes are my favourite as they’re seen in such a wide variety of things. From biological systems such as haemoglobin in your blood to catalytic converters in your car removing pollutants.

For me it was physics all along! It underlies every other natural science and is the language to talk about the Universe at every scale, from the smallest particles to the largest galaxies. It’s also the only science that actively challenges your perception of reality: relativity and space-time are weird, quantum mechanics is weirder.
