My family on my dad’s side is from the Cotswold’s as far as we can trace, so I’m mainly small village farming folk. On my mother’s side though my great grandmother came over from Italy, so I’m part Italian which was always important to my grandparents. I’ve never been to Greece, though since studying classics at college there are loads of places there I would love to visit.

Fun fact: I’m a 16th German 😂 I find it fascinating how everyone has so many connections and stories to tell.

I’ve been to Greece a few times, it’s a beautiful country full of kind people. But I’m particularly greatful to have met a (very friendly and exuberant) Greek professor of physics when I was first studying at university, because he pushed me to work hard and supported me in getting into the career I am in today.
