Question: What is the worst thing that has ever happened in the lab?

I’ve had a couple of fires, but they have usually been in control. The worst thing was when a piece of glassware overpressure and exploded in my face into a lot of very tiny pieces – it was a very loud bang! I was so lucky not to get hurt, but the sound of the explosion had about 6 different people run into the lab to check I was ok.
