        The lighting conditions are the key. Once the comet is on its way near the Sun, the robot can tilt itself in such a way that its solar panel receives maximum light and hopefully then, you will be able to see any pictures!

        The philae probe had two batteries, first one used to travel and one rechargeable secondary battery. This one was dependent of sun illumination conditions and dust settling on the solar panels. Also the extended science phase was supposed to last until March 2015 so it may be finishing.
