        Although there have been problems of drug resistance (where the HIV virus mutates such that the drug loses its effect), there have been renewed efforts to counter this with different combinations of drugs. Hopefully, few years down the line, we will be able to see a cure coming!

        To cure a virus it is important to understand it (structure and how does it react). We are currently able to increase the live of patient, some patient have shown the ability to control the virus without drugs. Currently some vaccine are on phase II in vivo drug development. It is taking time, but to be sure to create the best drugs or vaccine against a virus, research needs time. But research is getting closer and closer
