        As us and any living organism, virus respond to the theory of evolution and get mutation to get strongest.Which explains why virus can get more dangerous than before

        ebola was only discovered in 1976. virus’s mutate and change (hence why we keep getting colds) we just hop that a super virus does emerge like spanish flu in 1918 which killed more people that the first world war.

        Like others said, viruses are known to mutate, so it must have taken a form which is proving to be a danger for mankind now.
