        rainbows are caused by the reflection, refraction and dispersion of light in water droplets resulting in a spectrum of light appearing in the sky.

        It is a phenomenon which happens when the sun is low and the weather is wet.
        You need water suspension in the air and light
        The light will reflect on the water according to an angle of 40 degree and the water will work as a prism.
