• Question: Hi, how can something be made of nothing? ( in terms of the big bang theory) every effect has to have a cause.

      I don’t support big bang theory. I personally don’t believe something can be made of nothing, so I would wait until more research is made on this.

      according to current theory the big bang came from a singularity. a thing where the laws of physics don’t apply and has infinite mass. so the universe didn’t come from “nothing”. however no ones knows what caused the big bang.

    Imagine a line of dominoes, ready to be knocked down and cause a chain of events. But nothing happens, the only thing to make that happen would be to create vibrations, touch the dominoes (etc) they can’t do it on their own. So you could put this into the context of the universe’s creation. What caused that big reaction, because like this question – how can something come from nothing?
