I do. Evolution is not only base on the shape (how do species look) but also physiology or genetic. A changing of diet is still evolution. The theory of evolution explain how a specie can mutate and change if it need to, to survive but if the species got the perfect shape adapted on its environment to survive it doesn’t need to. If the environment is stable and no danger, there is no reasons.

yes i do and evolution is due to “survival of the fittest” we would only devolve if it gave us a survival advantage.

        Hi 282mcsb45,

i do agree with the idea of evolution. Using the term devolve would be a little pessimistic. Evolution doesn’t mean only undergoing complex developmental changes, it would also mean gettign rid of unwanted things.

Lets say for example, we dont have any use of the appendix or wisdom teeth in our body, and we find that in a few years time, they are completely absent in the coming generations! Would it mean that we have devolved? or that we have evolved? Getting rid of features which we have no use of, or which can cause problems would still be called evolution, as we are still in progress!

So, just give it a think, maybe my theory can convince you.
