Personally, I cannot. Although I would like to think someone can, as this would be awesome! Some years ago scientists managed to clone a sheep and cloning and expressing simple cells for “bioengineering” has been around for a while. Bring on the year of the mammoth.
I like Alexander’s answer and will just support it with a news I read in ‘Scientific American’ (by D. Biello) last year:
In 2000, a falling tree killed the last bucardo, a goatlike (wild ibex) animal (Celia). After 2 years, Celia’s clone was born. To make the clone scientists removed the nucleus of a cell from Celia intact and inserted it into the unfertilized egg cell of another kind of ibex. They then transferred the resulting embryo to the womb of a living goat. Nearly a year later they delivered the clone by cutting her from her mother.
Although she lived for a few minutes, but looks like it is possible.
The idea of recreating a being’s genetic code and DNA via stem cell research is very possible. although we have found a mammoth body, it may be a long while before the reseach taking place finds a breakthough

so long as we have stem cell research… i believe Tom is correct

i agree with tom,it could probably be possible in the future
