• Question: why would you recommend science to younger kids like me? how can this help with their education?

      Yes… Science helps you to understand the world around you and demystifies things we might see. It is the foundation on which we build our society. I certainly feel it is important to know how the world around you works and to contribute to that knowledge development.

      If yo study science, you learn about how to approach a problem, devise a solution, work out what should happen and what do do next. This is a rational approach which can be applied in all areas of life. Science requires that you can examine evidence critically for yourself and not be dependent on opinions (like social media). Even if you chose a different career path, these are valuable life skills

      Yes, definitely. It’s good to understand some science and not be afraid of it, even if you don’t do it as a career.

      Then in your life if someone tells you something science – you have the confidence to go and research yourself and be informed or the choices you are making or are being made for you (ie government)
