• Question: why would you like the prize money to go towards science communication

      Science and scientists get portrayed quite badly in the media, and there is a lot of mistrust towards science, especially since the Covid-19 pandemic. More communication could help improve how science and scientists are seen by the general public, and help understanding of very important messages.

    I would like it to go towards science communication that reflects ALL scientists and their contributions from across the world. There are many whose work has not been given the recognition that it deserves, so that would be a priority for me.
