• Question: what would aliens see if they looked at our world

      I would really depend on how far away they were. Astronomers are now regularly discovering planets around distant stars and are setting their sights on finding and observing Earth like planets. Their goal is to detect life through what they call biomarkers. These are chemical species that are produced by life and can be easily detected.

      There are also astronomers looking for intelligence out there by monitoring the radio spectrum and looking for laser signals directed as us.

      I suspect alien astronomers might be doing the same!

    It all depends, would aliens have the same type of vision as human beings?
    We know from space exploration that looking back on the Earth it has a very thin atmosphere.
    Would the land appear to be green and the seas blue? Its a very interesting question.
