During my undergraduate degree at University I was taught organic, inorganic and physical chemistry. I like organic and inorganic chemistry more as it had less math/equations plus the experiments were more hands-on. During my fourth year of my undergraduate degree I did a placement in a pharmaceutical company where I did a lot of practical organic chemistry to make potentially new medicines. Realising the importance of organic chemistry for that and many other areas made me decide to pursue it further.
