I made a cell active molecule by coupling another functional group to a molecule which isn’t cell active 🙂

I did my PhD on the nitric oxide (NO) molecule. I still think it is quite a cool molecule as it is one of the few free radicals you can buy in a bottle.

I have made so many molecules over the years. Some were easier to make than others.
I made a nice crystalline compound as part of my PhD. I have have worked on things which were incredibly red in colour.
Any molecule which is strongly active against my target enzyme or protein, is selective, stable, water soluble, no side effects and easy to make. A drug, in fact!
