      It’s a generic name for when your lungs are infected. Whether its a bacteria or a virus – if you have something nasty in there your body swells up to fight it off – but that makes breathing really difficult. The only way to get better is to treat and get rid of whatever is causing the infection.

      It’s a very nasty type of disease that gets into your lungs. There are many varieties of pneumonia… some are bacterial in origin and can be treated by antibiotics but others a viral in nature and these are, I understand, harder to treat.

      Pneumonia is a disease of the lungs. For otherwise healthy people, this is unpleasant but they recover with some care and medicine. For people with existing problems, this can be very serious. Unfortunately, it often occurs in hospitals and may be the final cause of death
