It’s all about perspectives, when you like what you are doing you tend to not think of how difficult it is. There are so many jobs that I would consider to be hard for example being a medical doctor or a firefighter, however, the people in those professions have different views from mine.
I don’t think being a scientist is a difficult job. It’s a job that requires lost of training, dedication and persistence. Many jobs like being a Vet or a doctor are just a challenging in terms of training, dedication and persistence.

I think there are lots of jobs I would find harder, because I really enjoy doing science.
For example, I think I would find being a lawyer much harder – but that is because I find legal text reallyyyy boring and I don’t like long days of desk work. But lots of other people might find my job boring and hard.
I think that if you can find a job you enjoy life is easier.
I honestly don’t think being a scientist is hard. I always worked in a good team where I was trained at my pace and supported. I was always worried science wasn’t for me or I wasn’t good enough, but I found with time I grew in confidence and I learnt I can do it.
I think every job is hard in it’s own way. But as long as you have a good team and you are not afraid to ask for help, you will be ok
