• Question: What was the reason you wanted to become a material scientist?

      Thank you for such a great question.
      I didn’t always know that I wanted to be a material scientist or what a material scientist was. During my time studying chemistry at university I found that the topics I enjoyed the most were all the ones related to material science. Therefore, I followed doing what I liked which lead me to become a material scientist. I wish I had learnt what material science was earlier, as if I had known more about it I would have studied it at university over chemistry.
