      I use computers to work out the shape of molecules (where all the atoms are) and then how it might interact with a protein in the body to produce a response (that’s how medicines work). By using the computer we can ‘design’ the molecule to have the properties that we want, rather than ‘guessing’ and just making certain molecules.
