Bioinorganic Chemistry: The branch of chemistry that is important to understand the role and importance of metal ions in biological systems

Bioinspired and biomimetic chemistry: This branch of studies is related to imitating the structure and function of biological molecules/processes, etc., by engineering small molecules or nanomaterials. Just in simple terms, the design of aeroplane was inspired by birds and whales. So, it is a bioinspired design. However, in bioinspired chemistry, we imitate enzymes or any other biological process for varied applications.
