  It’s both. If it wasn’t fun I wouldn’t do it but it is hard work as well. You don’t mind it sometimes being hard because you enjoy it.

  Both! There can be some hard work but usually this is also the most enjoyable because it might be what leads to finding out something new.

  As others have said I believe it is both. There are times it can be very hard working and others were it is fun, especially showing off the wonders of science.

  I agree with the others – definitely both! Very strangely, sometimes it is more fun when the work is hard, as it is very satisfying to to complete a hard job – which justifies having a celebration with my co-workers!
