      Viruses are constantly being discovered so this information will keep changing. It used to be what is known as the Mimivirus but there is another virus known as Megavirus which infects amoebae that exists now. I am not sure if more have been discovered more recently!

      As Ananthi has said, but what is really interesting (to me anyway!) is that these giant viruses have genes that we have not seen in any other form of life, which is incredible 🙂
