      There is a bacteria that my previous boss always used to try and show me down the microscope called Mycoplasma, it’s really tiny. Everytime she told me it was there I couldn’t see it, all I could see was dust! Because it’s so small I would say that one, you can’t rely on the microscope for that one so you have to do other methods where you detect its DNA instead

      There are some Bacteria in the soil and is that we cannot grow in the lab. We only know they exist because we have powerful equipment that has detected their DNA in samples. So, these bacteria are pretty hard to find

      Good question and I’m not really sure how to answer as a lot of the microorganisms I work with are very common haha
