I studied Biology at University, but actually specialised in animal nutrition and zoology, learning about how cows digest grass. It wasn’t until later on I became lucky enough to work in microbiology.
I think it’s really important to realise that the subject decisions you make aren’t final and you can always change what you want to specialise in to suit your interests 🙂 So don’t worry if the choices on offer seem a little confusing now, everyone will feel like that.
