Question: So far, have you generated any enegry from this type of way?

Good question! I personally haven’t generated energy as my lab doesn’t have all the bits of equipment to make this happen (yet!). What I am trying to do is think of ways to treat the grass so the microorganisms can digest it more easily to produce more gas (more gas = more energy).

Though there are power plants all across the UK that generate energy through microorganisms already! They do this using grass, food waste, crops and even human poop!
