• Question: Medicine pills that we take, isn't natural remidies better than taking pills?

      You’re right natural remedies are always the best. And that is exactly what I’m working on. I work with a bacteria called C difficile. A horrible bacteria that causes serious diarrhoea! Nasty right? The current medicines (pills) aren’t working too well so my job is to try and find an alternative. One of the things I’m working with are viruses called bacteriophages. These viruses attack and kill the bacteria. So imagine being able to kill a nasty bacteria with a virus instead of a medicine?

      Also antibiotic resistance is a huge problem these days, maybe this is something you can work on in the future?
