  Amazing question!! And one that I’ve only just figured out recently. So 1kg of wet grass produces about 50L of Biomethane, which has an energy value of 500Wh, which is about enough energy to power a washing machine for about 10 washes! Now the anaerobic digestion power plants can use aroung 60 TONNES of grass a day… so imagine all that energy!
