The great news is yes we have. There are viruses called bacteriophages. They attack bacteria only. So the idea is to use the viruses to kill the bad bacteria! The bad news is there are lots and lots of tests that have to be done in the lab first, to make sure they are safe on humans. I’m doing some of those tests! There are lots of safety rules and regulations so everything has to pass these before it can even get tested on humans. It’s a long process but hopefully we will see some good progress in the next few years 🙂
