Question: Are you planning on going on any holidays?

I haven’t got any holidays booked yet, but in April I am spending a month in Iceland studying some special bacteria called Thermophiles (bacteria that can survive really high temperatures in the natural vents there). This is one really cool thing about being a scientist… it allows you to go to places you wouldn’t necessarily go to with other jobs 🙂
