      Unlikely but you never know. There are advances being made and there are vaccines being developed to combat cold.

      The virus causing the common cold or flu changes quite frequently so making a vaccine against this is complicated.

      Interesting question. It seems unlikely, but with inventions like quantum computing this could change.

      The common cold changes all the time so its unlikely we’ll ever find a cure that always works but it is likely we will find a generic treatment that can make the symptoms easier to cope with
