It contains bile acids (cholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid) for digestion and absorption of fats and fat-soluble vitamins in the small intestine.

Bile is really important to help us get the goodness (vitamins and nutrients) out of some foods, it particularly helps us break up fatty foods. Fat is a big molecule so our bodies need a bit of help to break it down during digestion.
