Scientists both enjoy being the first human on the planet to know something new, and also the possibility that this new discovery may benefit fellow humans. Without science the world would be a much more difficult place to live, with people dying from things like a simple chest infection!

To find out things and to be curious! I have always loved how science encourages us to ask questions and challenge what we think we already know. Some people say that science and maths subjects have “right and wrong” answers but this isn’t always true. We are always learning new things about our planet, how our bodies work, how to solve problems… So for me science is exciting because it’s not just about right and wrong answers, its a way to explore big questions and find new ways to explain the world around us.

Science helps humans understand how everything in the world works. There is still a lot of work to be done. Understanding and saving the climate being one of the big task for us now.
