      I would say I work for the science rather than for money…so as long as it is a decent salary it should be ok. You can obviously progress ahead…so first look for something that will excite you and then go for it and excel in it.

      Not as much as we would like it to be based on all our experience. The pay is not what the job is for though.

      The pay is poor considering the years required to become a scientist. If you are after lots of money you should go into banking or finance. i am not motivated by money, I just need enough money to be comfortable and have a few holidays a year!
