Question: Why do you like explosives

I am interested in explosives because no one knows very much about what happens when explosives get into soil or into water. There are lots of different types and some of them can be quite poisonous to fish, plants and other animals. Part of my job is trying to find out how explosives get to the fish in water, or into plants through their roots in the soil and how to make the plants and animals better if they do get poisoned. So I guess I don’t really like explosives, but I do think it’s important that we understand them so that we can make sure that we can use them safely (in the mining industry, or when left over explosives are found underneath building sites.)
