        More energy than the physical rules allow. about 10,000,000 x the sun’s energy to open up a small one.

        Thank you for your answer Waqar. I don’t know much about wormholes but I know that it would need phenomenal amounts of energy. I wonder if there will ever be a low energy way to travel vast distances in space (other than putting all the passengers into some kind of deep freeze). What do you think?

        Well worms can do it, so not that much I’d have though… 😉

        It’s a tough question, because so far wormholes are only a theoretical idea. I don’t think we’ve ever observed or created one.

        That doesn’t mean they’re not still useful to think about though, and fun too.
