Boom, that is one very large question. Emma took the easy answer of 42! I would thoroughly recommend reading all of Douglas Adams books, he was a brilliant and very funny man. Even if you don’t like science fiction he wrote an amazing book about endangered animals called “last chance to see” https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Last_Chance_to_See

But to answer your question I would ask “does it have to have a meaning?” if I had to give mine a meaning I guess it would to leave the world a better place than I found it.

Just a tiny question then.. 🙂
I think that everyone has their own view on what the meaning of life is. For me, I want to see as much of the world as I can, and make a positive difference wherever I can. Those things can be small – like making someone smile, or they can be big – like improving the way that we do clinical trials so that cures for diseases are found more quickly. It sounds a bit soppy, but both of those things are important to me!
I thought this quote from Jaymie Matthews, Professor of Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of British Colombia in America, explained this nicely:
“Every time you look up at the stars, and wonder what they are and how they got there, you give the Universe meaning, and add to your own meaning.”

I don’t believe in a universal answer to this. The wonderful thing about being human is the opportunity to think freely so each of us can give meaning to our own lives.
