• Question: what energy in used to keep the electrons spinning around an atom constantly

      So this is definitely not our area, so I don’t know the answer sorry. From my limited understanding of physics I do know the way electrons spin is not in the same way you might classically think of anything spinning like a basketball spinning on a finger or a merry go round or something. Electrons have no measurable size, they are called ‘point’ particles, and something that small doesn’t spin in the traditional sense. This is where I completely run out of physics knowledge sorry!
