  It’s a fascinating topic although I’m not an expert in this area. However, a dear friend and a colleague of mine, Dr Catherine Perrodin, is an international expert on how animals – nonhuman primates (that is, monkeys) and other animals like mice – communicate with each other. One of the most important aspects of language in general is how do different individuals recognise each other.
