My favourite part about being a scientist – is just to have time to think about and come up with ideas about why something works (or doesn’t work). It’s really satisfying.

The answer to both your questions is that I like to find out new things about the world around me.

My question in response would be how can someone not find science interesting? Its the way the world works, how things happen, why things interact and how we can predict what they’ll do in the future.

My favourite part is using the evidence in front of me to come to a better solution to a problem than what we’re currently doing.

It’s a bit like trying to explain why I like cheese: I just do 🙂 but trying to break it down I guess it’s because I’m not content just accepting things; I want to know how and why things work the way they do. Science interests me because it answers my questions. Well most of them, there are many unanswered questions still in science, which keeps it interesting.
