As a society we would invest more in science research – as getting funding for research can be difficult

Published scientific papers should be free to access and not behind paywalls. Knowledge and science should be free for all.

More funding..! The ability to perform science often depends on resources, be that staff or money.

That common misunderstandings the general public have about certain areas of science would be sorted out. For example, I work with radioactive materials and most people think it’s ridiculously dangerous but it isn’t at all. We all do lots of far more risky things every day – like crossing the road! If people really understood the risks of things, it would make us all much more sensible about how we deal with those risks.
