When we are looking at the blood flow it will depend on which area of the body we are looking at. So we can look at blood flow in the legs, arms, necks and stomachs. If we suspect a problem with the blood flow in one area we may go and check another part of the body and see how they compare. We do one test that involves measuring blood pressure in the arm and in the leg whilst we listen to the blood flow. We get 2 values which can be used to determine if there is any narrowings in the arteries in the legs.
