0 Question: What is your favourite Planetary nebula? Mine would be NGC 6826, the 'blinking planetary'. Keywords: nebula Asked by Katie to Paul, Mobeen, Laura, Jen, Greg on 8 Mar 2016.
Paul O'Mahoney answered on 8 Mar 2016:
I am quite fond of the horsehead nebula. It is one of the first I remember seeing pictures of and I thought it was really cool! Also it can be easy to find (although not always to see) because it is very near Orion’s belt.
Laura Haworth answered on 8 Mar 2016:
I like NGC 2392- The Eskimo nebula. They are all pretty cool though.
Greg Melia answered on 8 Mar 2016:
No kidding, I was about to say NGC 2392 as well, but I see Laura’s already posted it. Great minds think alike! Here it is: http://scitechdaily.com/a-closer-look-at-planetary-nebula-ngc-2392/
Jen Lowe answered on 8 Mar 2016:
NGC 5189 looks pretty sweet to me.
