• Question: Is Medical Microwave Imaging effective enough to be used in hospitals to detect cancer yet?

      It’s not yet advanced enough to be used in hospitals. Quite a lot of research effort is going into it though: several groups of scientists are working on different types of imaging that used to be done with ionising radiation like X-rays, but can possibly be done with non-ionising radiation instead. Hopefully it should start to become common in hospitals within the next ten years or so.
